Privacy Policy

of Golf Tech Golfartikelvertriebs GmbH (FN 31852T)

The protection of your data is of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2021). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Golf Tech Golfartikelvertriebs GmbH, Carlbergergasse 66, 1230 Vienna, Austria. You can reach us by phone at +43 1 867 43 33 or by email at office@golftech.at.

Cookies and Consent

Our website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We distinguish between strictly necessary cookies and cookies that require your consent.

Strictly necessary cookies are required to operate the website – for example, to store your cookie choice. They are set on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and § 165(3) TKG 2021 and do not require consent.

All other cookies and services (in particular Google Analytics) are only set or loaded after you have actively given your consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). No statistics or marketing cookies are loaded before you consent.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, click on “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Your choice is stored for 6 months; after that we ask again.

Web Analytics – Google Analytics

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of how the website is used. The IP address is processed in anonymised form.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use Google Consent Mode, so that no analytics cookies are set before consent. If you do not consent, no analysis takes place.

When using Google Analytics, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses are in place. For more information, see Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Newsletter

When you sign up for our newsletter, we process your first and last name as well as your email address in order to send you information about our products and offers. Signing up is voluntary and based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We use the service ActiveCampaign, provided by ActiveCampaign, LLC (USA), to send and manage our newsletter. For this purpose, your data is transferred to and stored by ActiveCampaign. A data processing agreement is in place with ActiveCampaign; for the transfer to the USA, the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter and withdraw your consent at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by sending a message to office@golftech.at.

Contact Form and Email Contact

If you contact us via the form on our website or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number and your message) in order to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).

For the technical delivery of emails sent via the form, we use the service Mailgun (Sinch Email, Inc., USA) as a processor. For the transfer to the USA, the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

This data is not shared with third parties without your consent and is deleted once your inquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

Hosting

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). In this context, technically necessary data (in particular server log files such as IP address, date and time of access, page accessed and browser type) is processed in order to provide the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider; for the transfer to the USA, the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Supplier and Contractor Management

We receive your data — name, commercial register number, address, email address, phone number and bank details — as part of the relationship as a supplier and/or contractor of our company. This data is required to perform the contract and is also processed to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. tax retention obligations or warranty and damages obligations).

We store the data for the duration of the business relationship and, beyond that, for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the transaction was completed, but at most for as long as warranty, damages and product liability claims make it necessary.

Your Rights

You generally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, www.dsb.gv.at).

To exercise your rights or for any questions regarding data protection, you can reach us at office@golftech.at.
